Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 August 2026
These terms govern your business’s (“you,” “your business”) use of DashPoint, a platform operated by DashPoint Analytics (Pty) Ltd (“DashPoint,” “we,” “us”). By creating a DashPoint account, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
DashPoint is business software for payroll, HR, invoicing, expenses, leave and attendance, CRM, projects, and cash reconciliation, built for businesses operating in Botswana. Some features use AI to help extract or draft information — these are described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the actions taken by anyone your business gives access to the account. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the data your business enters or imports into DashPoint, including employee records and financial data.
3. Pricing and payment
DashPoint is currently in beta. During the beta, the full suite — all 10 modules and the AI layer — is free, with no credit card required. Once the beta ends, you can choose to continue on the full suite: businesses that joined during the beta lock in a discounted rate of P400/month for 12 months, and businesses joining after general launch are offered our standard rate, currently P500/month. If you’d rather not pay, you can instead continue on a free plan limited to one module of your choice and up to 5 users. All pricing is subject to change, and any change will always be shown on our pricing page before it takes effect.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use DashPoint only for legitimate business purposes, not to attempt to access another business’s data, and not to use the platform in a way that violates applicable law, including data protection law with respect to the employee data you submit.
5. Your data
The data you enter into DashPoint — your business records, your employees’ records, your financial data — belongs to you. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy, and we don’t claim ownership of it or use it for any purpose beyond running the platform you’ve configured.
6. Not professional advice
DashPoint calculates PAYE and generates BURS remittance documents to help you run payroll correctly, but it is a tool, not a substitute for professional tax, accounting, or legal advice. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your statutory filings and for confirming that DashPoint’s calculations match current BURS requirements. If you’re unsure about a specific tax or compliance question, consult a qualified professional.
7. Intellectual property
DashPoint, its software, design, and branding belong to DashPoint Analytics (Pty) Ltd. These terms don’t grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond using the platform as intended.
8. Termination
You can permanently delete your workspace at any time from Settings → Billing — see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data afterward. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
DashPoint is provided “as is.” While we work to keep the platform accurate and available, we don’t guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DashPoint Analytics (Pty) Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including errors in calculations you haven’t independently verified.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Botswana.
11. Changes to these terms
If we make a material change to these terms, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and let account owners know directly.
